Job specification

Under the direction of the Vice President Operations, you will be responsible for the fluidity of logistics activities. To this end, you will ensure that the delivery schedule is executed, delegate tasks, and ensure that equipment is available. In the event of rolling stock breakage or transport problems, you will act quickly to mitigate the impacts.

You are recognized for your qualities as an organizer and manager capable of clearly and unambiguously expressing your expectations in addition to adequately explaining the corporate objectives. The concern you bring to creating a healthy, safe and motivating work environment is part of your strengths.

In addition, your experience allows you to quickly see the possibilities for improving things, whether at the work level but also in consolidating a positive team spirit. You like to highlight the successes of your employees and seek to collaborate with all departments.

Required profile

Your college diploma in transport logistics as well as a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role will allow you to face this challenge. You are familiar with environments where planning and continuous improvement models dominate (e.g. 5S, Six Sigma, Lean). Your leadership style meets the desired criteria: flexibility, collaboration, listening, team empowerment.
