Our client, a key player in the field of property and casualty insurance in Canada, is entirely dedicated to independent brokers. It offers specialized and innovative solutions to its broker partners and policyholders. Its modular products are available only through its extensive distribution network of selected independent brokers across Canada.

Job specification

Reporting to the President, the incumbent will be responsible for directing claims operations by defining the claims handling philosophy, establishing policies, standards and procedures, and establishing and enforcing reserves to standards. The incumbent is also responsible for providing authority, support and coaching to the branches.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in business or a related field, and at least 15 years of experience in claims adjustment. You have proven your managerial skills and know how to mobilize and develop the talents that make up your team. You are CIP or FCIP certified and have a good knowledge of Ontario legislation for the automotive sector.

Required profile

You have acquired your technical skills in large companies in the insurance sector and now want to make an impact for a private company that will appreciate your expertise. We want to attract a bilingual candidate, recognized for his or her leadership and executive posture and the finesse of his or her interventions in interpersonal relations.
