This role encompasses oversight of finance, supply chain, and real estate management, while ensuring regulatory compliance and the implementation of innovative financial practices. The incumbent will be tasked with developing a financial master plan aligned with strategic planning, optimizing budgeting and accounting processes, and supporting growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Shape the financial vision and long-term strategies in collaboration with the President and Advisory Board.
  • Act as guardian of financial health and integrate financial perspectives into organizational decisions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and approve forecasts, performance indicators, and dashboards.
  • Assess and optimize debt and capital structure, supporting growth and investment projects.
  • Oversee tax strategy and negotiate favorable financial terms with external partners.
  • Approve projects integrating financial systems and advanced technologies.
  • Mobilize and develop teams (50+ professionals), fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the organization with banks, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Work closely with VPs and GMs of various business lines to understand their challenges and support their projects.

Required profile

We are seeking a Vice President of Finance who embodies leadership and a management vision that fosters cohesion, accountability, and engagement. The incumbent has a minimum of 15 years of experience leading large finance and accounting teams, is a member of the CPA Order, and has primarily worked in growing, multi-site service companies (experience in retail will be considered an asset).

A true strategic partner, this individual will support teams while enabling the executive’s ambitions. Solution-oriented rather than conservative, the incumbent has already guided an organization through a phase of strong growth and brand positioning, contributing to its visibility beyond Quebec’s borders.

Possessing solid expertise in accounting, taxation, and compliance, combined with an innovative outlook, he/she balances financial rigor with change management. Through previous experiences, the candidate has demonstrated the ability to create strategic value and maximize profitability across a portfolio of business lines. Bilingual and emotionally mature, this inspiring leader will act as a strategic advisor to the President and executive committee, playing a key role in the company’s sustainable growth and national and international expansion.
