Job specification
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Territory Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products and services within an assigned territory, both by servicing existing clients and prospecting new business opportunities. They will also support and train B2B counter staff within their district’s branches and provide tailored product and service recommendations aligned with customer needs and budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements in accordance with company guidelines.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities to expand business through trusted relationships.
- Perform ongoing business analysis for all assigned key accounts.
- Stay current with product knowledge and industry trends to adapt to a constantly evolving market.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to deliver customized solutions and enhance client satisfaction.
- Contribute to the organization of various business development-related social events and activities.
- Support established pricing lists, credit terms, warranties, and delivery schedules as set by the company.
Required profile
We are looking for a sales representative with excellent oral and written communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a proven track record of securing win-win business agreements. The ideal candidate is dynamic, persuasive, organized, and rigorous, with the ability to build lasting client relationships while providing outstanding service and follow-through. This individual thrives in prospecting, works independently, demonstrates resourcefulness, and is proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce. With at least 7 years of experience in field sales, the candidate should also have solid knowledge of the construction sector, including materials and tools. Fluency in French, a valid driver’s license, and access to a personal vehicle are required for this position.
