Our client is a Canadian company offering insurance products (health and travel). It is embarking on a decisive growth phase for its travel insurance line. It is transforming its commercial approach to move from a model focused on a large volume of customers to a model that integrates structured partnerships generating significant volumes.

Job specification

The main challenges will be to:

  • Develop major partnerships (financial institutions, distribution networks, travel agencies) to increase market share and profitability.
  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve growth objectives and exceed targets.
  • Defining and deploying the national sales and partnership strategy for the travel insurance line (Quebec and Ontario), in line with the recently adopted strategic plan.

Required profile

This role is for a bilingual manager with over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry (knowledge of travel insurance is an asset), including 5 years of team management. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate strategic vision, keen business acumen, and leadership skills. Your ability to build lasting business relationships, motivate sales teams, and lead complex negotiations will facilitate the implementation of strategic directions and the achievement of growth objectives.

This position allows you to manage a portfolio of accounts, develop national agreements, and lead the team covering other markets. Your interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate make you a sought-after manager.
