Committed to ongoing growth, the company is seeking a National Director of Industrial Sales to lead the sales team and expand into new markets.

Job specification

Reporting to the President, this individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and evolving national industrial sales strategies. In a context of strong growth and intense competition in the manufacturing sector, this strategic role aims to structure commercial efforts, increase revenue, and develop new markets. The role includes overseeing the sales team and distribution network, while actively managing key client relationships, strategic partnerships, and participating in executive committee activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the national strategic plan for industrial sales

• Supervise internal/external sales representatives and the distribution network

• Identify and develop new markets, clients, and growth opportunities

• Set sales targets and rigorously monitor performance indicators

• Ensure strategic market intelligence: trends, innovations, competition

• Participate in major negotiations and represent the company at industry events

• Collaborate with internal departments to align commercial strategies

• Contribute to overall strategic planning and take part in the executive committee

Required profile

The ideal candidate holds a strong academic background – preferably in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field – along with over ten years of relevant experience, including a significant track record in a manufacturing environment. A strategic thinker and influential leader whom excels in negotiation and thrives in complex contexts. With a strong results orientation and business development mindset, the candidate brings a deep understanding of manufacturing environments, technical sales, and engineering-based solutions. Bilingualism (French and English), rigor, adaptability, and flexibility are key to success in this high-impact role.
