As part of a strategic transition within its executive team, our client is seeking a Sales Director for its construction division. This individual will be responsible for advancing the sales organization, leading an experienced sales team, and supporting business development to ensure the division’s growth and profitability.

Job specification

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the incumbent will serve as a leader for the sales team by fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. He or she will actively participate in developing new markets, managing strategic accounts, and implementing management practices to optimize the division’s results.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing strategies aimed at sales growth and market development; 
  • Motivating, mentoring, and developing a team of sales representatives
  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders;
  • Ensure the effective use of sales management tools; 
  • Contribute to the organization’s profitability, market positioning, and growth. 

Required profile

The ideal candidate has solid experience in B2B sales management within a manufacturing environment. He or she is recognized for the ability to build a team, foster a results-oriented culture, and lead change with credibility. With excellent business acumen, inspiring leadership, and an approach that is both strategic and hands-on, this person knows how to develop markets, build lasting business relationships, and rally teams around common goals.
