Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in the food industry, recognized for the quality of its products and its modern facilities. The company serves the retail, foodservice, and industrial markets and continues to grow by focusing on innovation and continuous improvement.

As the company restructures and evolves its practices, it is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support managers and foster talent development.

Job specification

Reporting to the President, the incumbent serves as a strategic partner to managers and the executive committee. He or she helps to engage teams and drive the evolution of HR practices.

In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Participate in organizational transformation initiatives and advise managers on HR issues
  • Implement and support skills development and recognition practices
  • Roll out initiatives that promote engagement and the employee experience
  • Manage immigration files, salary scales, and disciplinary notices
  • Support managers in change management and operational optimization
  • Update HR processes, policies, and tools with a focus on continuous improvement

Required profile

The candidate holds a university degree in human resources or a related field and has significant experience in a generalist or HR business partner role, ideally gained in the manufacturing or agri-food industry. 

The ideal candidate demonstrates a solid understanding of labor relations and the operational realities of a production environment. A member of the Ordre des CRHA, they stand out for their inspiring leadership, credibility with managers, and ability to facilitate change. 

Recognized for their interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and solution-oriented approach, they actively contribute to the evolution of practices and the development of talent.
