Organizational context

Our client operates in the green energy ecosystem and is looking to add a Paralegal to its team in response to the constant growth it has experienced in recent years.

Job specification

Under the supervision of the Corporate Secretary and in collaboration with two paralegals, the incumbent will be involved in a variety of challenging projects/cases across North America.

This position covers three areas: maintaining documentation for Canadian and U.S. subsidiaries, participating in the management of business partners, and complying with continuous disclosure obligations specific to public companies. You will be responsible for :

  • Collaborate in the preparation of various documents to update the minute books of the Group's Canadian and U.S. subsidiaries
  • Contribute to the proper management of business partners by participating in the creation of documents and acting as secretary for certain meeting
  • Provide support to the Corporate Secretary, notably by assisting in the preparation and filing of documents related to continuous disclosure obligations and regulatory compliance specific to public companies
  • Support the drafting and updating of corporate policies, procedures and model documents.

Required profile

You have about 8 years' experience in corporate law and are looking for a work environment that will allow you to develop your management and communication skills. You'll be teaming up with passionate people who are changing tomorrow's world today!
