As part of their ongoing commitment to innovation and technical excellence, they are looking to add an Engineering Director to their team.

Job specification

Key responsibilities include managing a team of engineers and technicians, solving complex technical problems, coordinating activities with internal and external customers and contributing to the development of new service offerings. The successful candidate will also be responsible for employee training and support, drafting technical procedures and leading continuous improvement projects.

Because the company's success depends on customer satisfaction, the incumbent will be involved in complaint management, problem analysis and the identification of solutions adapted to the unique reality of Canadian customers.

This position involves close collaboration between sales, procurement, production and after-sales service.

Required profile

Your university training in electrical engineering (OIQ member) has led you to occupy project management positions (min. 8 years' experience, including 3 years’ in team management). You enjoy working in fast-paced, non-routine environments. You seek to develop clear, customer-oriented processes (both internal and external).

You have a good grasp of the tools needed to design and read electrical and mechanical drawings (AutoCAD, Inventor). You can communicate in both languages and are proficient at presenting to groups. Occasional travel required.
