Organizational context

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Director to join our client's management committee in the retail sector.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the entire supply chain, from planning to execution, ensuring efficiency, quality and the profitability of operations. He/she will oversee category management, product development, warehousing and logistics, strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an annual departmental business plan aligned with commercial objectives and customer satisfaction, activating key indicators and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Optimizing methods and processes to drive cost reduction and support anticipated growth.

• Development and management of partnerships with suppliers.

• Sound management of contract negotiations and renewals.

• Leadership, mentoring, evaluation and development of your team.

• Interdepartmental collaboration.


Required profile

• University degree in supply chain management or logistics or similar field.

• 5-7 years of experience in full supply chain management, preferably in the retail industry.

• Analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Bilingual French-English.

• Experience in team management and talent development.

• Member of APICS will be considered an asset.
