Organizational context

Our client operates in the construction industry, offering a variety of industry-specific occupational health and safety services and training. The organization's team comprises approximately forty individuals who contribute to its sectoral influence.

Job specification

Reporting to the General Manager, the person in this new role will be responsible for defining communication and visibility strategies, considering the various channels available: training courses, events, symposia, tours, social media, publications and more.

With his/her team, he/she will plan and implement the external communications calendar. He/she will be called upon to create new collaborative links with other influential partners in the ecosystem. He/she will promote the organization at strategic meetings.

The incumbent will map complex projects, identify opportunities to optimize their communication and promote them.

In addition, this key player will be in charge of certain technological projects, such as conducting an audit of the website and related systems with his or her team and defining an action plan to update IT tools (three-year plan) and project management tools. His/her arrival will be an opportunity to reflect on what has been done in the past, and to better imagine the future!

Required profile

You have a university degree in communications and a minimum of 7 years of experience in team management. You are recognized as a team player who knows how to bring out the best in everyone's contributions, and who wants to help your team's skills grow. You are stimulated by projects that require your input as a strategist and know how to get to execute when necessary. Your past experience has given you a good understanding of the impact of a comprehensive communications strategy, and the web is a channel you master very well. You're curious, on the lookout for changes in technology and customer behavior. You're adaptable and flexible.
